Armenian-orgin wrestler Nicholas Sahakian took the first place in the MatScouts rankings among US high school wrestlers in the 130kg weight class.
In the ranking regardless of weight categories Sahakian took 14th place. This ranking is based on the results of the 2023/24 season. Sahakian attends St. John Bosco High School (SJBHS) and is preparing to attend Arizona College where he will continue his wrestling career.
Nicholas Sahakian is a 17-year-old wrestler from the United States and the 2023 Pan American Under-17 freestyle and Greco-Roman champion. He is the 2023 U.S. Under-17 Greco-Roman champion and second in freestyle wrestling.
