The Armenian team "Noah" continues its confident performance in the UEFA Conference League qualification. In the second round, the team easily defeated the Maltese "Sliema" with a total score of 7-0. The first match, which took place in Armenia, ended with a convincing victory for "Noah" with a score of 7-0, almost guaranteeing the team a place in the next stage. The return match, held in Malta, ended in a 0-0 draw, which fully satisfied the Armenian team.
The advantage gained in the first match allowed "Noah" to focus on controlling the game and conserving their strength for the next stage. Excellent work in defense and the goalkeeper's confident play ensured the team a "dry" result, preventing the opponent from creating any dangerous moments near their goal.
In the third round of qualification, "Noah" will face the Greek club AEK, which also demonstrated its strength by winning both matches against Andorran "Inter Escaldes" with a total score of 8-3 (4-0, 4-3). AEK is known for its attacking play, so the Armenian team will need to make a considerable effort to successfully confront them. The Greek team features well-known players such as Erik Lamela, Roberto Pereyra, Domagoj Vida, Thomas Strakosha, Nordin Amrabat, Levi Garcia, Mijat Gaćinović, and Steven Zuber.
The matches of the third round will take place on August 8 and 15. The first match will be held at Noah's home stadium, and the return match in Greece.
Thus, three Armenian teams will play in the third round of the Conference League qualification.
