Former world number one, Novak Djokovic, has confirmed that he will participate in the singles competition at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. He may also compete in doubles alongside his compatriot Dušan Lajović. Djokovic is currently recovering from a knee injury sustained in the Roland Garros round of 16, where he defeated Argentina's Francisco Cerundolo.
For Novak, the Olympic Games have always been a major goal. His best achievement is a bronze medal in Beijing in 2008. Paris 2024 may be his last chance to win gold. The Serbian Olympic Committee confirmed that Djokovic will participate in the games.
