56-year-old former head coach of the Armenian national team, Abraham Khashmanyan, has replaced Vahe Gevorgyan as the head coach of "Alashkert".
Previously, Khashmanyan led "Alashkert" to the championship twice and won the Armenian Cup and Supercup once.
Khashmanyan has been the head coach of "Alashkert" in various years, starting from 2014:
- August 2014 - October 2016.
- December 2016 - April 2018.
- April 2019 - September 2019.
- January 2021 - May 2021.
- June 2024.
In the concluded season of the Armenian Championship, "Alashkert" finished in 5th place and will not compete in European competitions.
