Armenian national team midfielder Hovhannes Harutyunyan joined Ararat Armenia on loan from Russian club Sochi.
Harutyunyan has already played for Ararat-Armenia in 2019 to 2020. The 25-year-old footballer has spent the last 4 seasons at Pyunik, with whom he twice became the champion of Armenia.
In the winter of 2024, FC Sochi bought Harutyunyan for 160 thousand euros, but returned him back to Pyunik for rent. After the lease was completed, Hovhannes did not return to Sochi, but went on another lease to Ararat-Armenia.
