Two players from Yerevan's "Ararat" — forward Razmik Akopyan and midfielder Rudik Mkrtchyan — have signed a contract with Gyumri's "Shirak."
For 25-year-old Rudik Mkrtchyan, this is a return to his hometown club, where he debuted in 2017. In 2021, he moved to "Ararat," where he was one of the key players and helped the club participate in the Conference League.
28-year-old Razmik Akopyan is a product of "Pyunik." He has been playing for "Ararat" since 2019 and is known for his beautiful goals from free kicks.
For "Shirak," these are the first signings in the summer transfer window.
