"Zaurbek is a renowned freestyle wrestler, Olympic champion. I am sure, with the right training and with a good team, he will be able to achieve high results in mixed martial arts. Of course, we would like to see him in Our Cause. We will ask our matchmakers to contact him, maybe he will make his debut with us. We have interesting opposition for him in the league at both 70 and 66 kilograms. These are Grozin, Eminov and Olympic medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling Mihran Harutyunyan," Gulyan said.
Earlier, Zaurbek Sidakov was refused by the International Olympic Committee to participate in the Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling, after which information about Zaurbek's possible contract with the UFC appeared on the Internet, which was confirmed by the wrestler's friend, current UFC fighter Muhammad Naimov.
