On August 3, two Armenian Greco-Roman wrestlers, Malkhas Amoyan (77 kg) and Artur Aleksanyan (97 kg), arrived in Paris.
Amoyan and Aleksanyan will begin their performances at the Olympic Games on August 6, and on August 4, the tournament draw will take place to determine the first opponents of the Armenian wrestlers.
In total, Armenia will be represented in Paris by five wrestlers: three in Greco-Roman style and two in freestyle.
Another Greco-Roman wrestler, Slavik Galstyan, will start competing in Paris on August 7 and will arrive tomorrow. Meanwhile, freestyle wrestlers Arsen Harutyunyan (57 kg) and Vazgen Tevanyan (65 kg) will compete in the final days of the Olympics and will arrive in Paris last.
