The champion of Armenia, "Pyunik," once again defeated the champion of Kazakhstan, "Ordabasy," with a minimal score of 1-0 in the second leg and advanced to the Conference League play-off round with an aggregate score of 2-0.
In the second leg, "Pyunik" played at home and won thanks to a goal by Yusuf Otubanjo in the 66th minute. The Nigerian legionnaire of the Armenian team single-handedly beat the entire defense and sent the ball into the near corner of the goal. Notably, Yusuf also scored in the first match between these teams.
"Pyunik's" lineup: Avagyan — Alemao (72' Bravo), Kovalenko, Bratkov, Juninho — Davidyan (80' Deble), Maia (80' Udo), Kochuk, Hames — Agdon (72' Paredes), Otubanjo (90, Malakyan).
In the Conference League play-off round, "Pyunik" will face the loser of the Europa League tie between "Celje" and "Shamrock Rovers."
