Yerevan's "Pyunik" announced the signing of contracts with three more players ahead of the first-round Champions League qualifying matches against Minsk's "Dinamo". The first game between the champions of Armenia and Belarus will take place on July 10 in Hungary.
Vladyslav Kulach – Player of "Pyunik"
31-year-old Ukrainian forward Vladyslav Kulach previously played for prestigious teams in his homeland, such as Luhansk's "Zorya", "Vorskla", and Kyiv's "Dynamo". He became the top scorer of the Ukrainian Premier League in the 2020/21 season, scoring 15 goals.
He also has two goals in the group stage of the Europa League. Throughout his career, he has played more than 200 matches, scoring 56 goals and providing 13 assists. Kulach's last club was Azerbaijani "Zira", where he played for one and a half seasons.
João Paredes joined "Pyunik"
28-year-old Portuguese forward João Paredes joined "Pyunik". Paredes is a product of Lisbon's "Sporting" and has gone through all the age groups of the club. "Pyunik" will be João's first foreign club; before that, he played exclusively in his homeland.
Paredes' impressive statistics in the main Portuguese Cup include 8 goals in 11 games. We are confident that his talent and experience will greatly benefit our club. João has impressive physical attributes – a height of 190 cm and high speed.
Alemão became the new defender of "Pyunik"
"Pyunik" signed a contract with 31-year-old Brazilian defender Alemão. Alemão's previous club was "Ararat-Armenia", where he had been playing since 2020. During this time, he participated in 119 matches, scoring 10 goals and making 11 assists. Last season, Alemão won his first career title, becoming the Armenian Cup winner.
Alemão began his professional career at the Brazilian club "San Carlos" and then continued his career in Portuguese clubs such as "Tourizense", the second team of "Marítimo", "Leixões", and "Oliveirense". During his time in the Portuguese Second League, he played 171 matches, scoring 4 goals and providing 9 assists. In addition, Alemão played 20 matches in the Portuguese Cup and League Cup competitions.
In the "Ararat-Armenia" team, Alemão also participated in 10 matches in the European Cup, where he scored his first goal in European tournaments last season in a match against "Egnatia".
