Slovan Bratislava denies reports of Tigran Barseghyan's possible departure this summer. Yesterday, rumors circulated on the internet that a club in Cyprus was interested in signing the Armenian striker.
Some Slovak media also reported that Barseghyan had not been able to agree on a new contract with his current club and was set to leave. However, these reports were denied by Slovan.
«Tonight, news from Cyprus appeared on some Slovak sports websites about Barseghyan potentially leaving Slovan Bratislava. ŠK Slovan has denied this information and confirmed that they have an active contract with Barseghyan through the end of 2024. The club is not currently negotiating with any other club regarding his transfer, so the reports that he is "on his way out" or "already leaving" are inaccurate. Barseghyan is currently training with the team in Austria and preparing for the upcoming season. In addition, the club is in discussions with the player regarding extending the current contract, which will expire at the end of this calendar year», — the club has made this announcement on its official website.
