On August 23, an MMA tournament, FIGHT NIGHTS 124: Armenia vs World, took place in Yerevan. Five fights were held between the teams of Armenia and the World. The Armenian fighters won all five fights, securing the team trophy.
In the main event of the evening, legendary Armenian fighter David Khachatryan won a hard-fought and uncompromising battle against Kazakh veteran Adil Boranbaev by judges' decision.
