The Armenian U20 team defeated the Moldova U20 team with a score of 81-71 in the fifth round match of the European Basketball Championship in Division B.
In this match, two players of the Armenian team particularly stood out. Araik Gevorgyan became the top scorer of the match, scoring 27 points, making 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal. His contribution to the victory was invaluable and significant for the team.
Equally impressive was the performance of Yura Melikyan, who recorded a double-double. He scored 26 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, made 1 assist, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals. Melikyan currently leads the championship in several statistical categories:

He is also among the top five most efficient players with an index of 22.3.
