The Armenia U20 basketball team lost to Ukraine U20 with a score of 60-93 in the first round match of the European U20 Championship in Division B.
The most active player for the Armenian team was center Yura Melikyan. He scored 17 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, made 5 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks. Araik Gevorgyan added another 10 points.
The Armenian team showed a good game against a very strong opponent, which gives hope for victories in the remaining group stage matches against Hungary, Sweden, Kosovo, and Moldova.
Already tomorrow, July 13, the Armenian team will play against Hungary.
