Today, on August 4, the 2024 Paris Olympics will feature three individual finals in artistic gymnastics: rings (men), vault (men), and uneven bars (women).
Armenian gymnasts Vahagn Davtyan and Artur Davtyan will compete in the finals for rings and vault, respectively. They have a chance to win Armenia's first medals at the 2024 Olympics.

In the rings final, attention will be focused on Chinese gymnasts Zou Jingyuan and Liu Yang, who consistently achieve high results. Zou Jingyuan, with a qualification score of 15.300, is the favorite due to his Olympic experience and status as a four-time world champion. His compatriot Liu Yang, the 2020 Olympic champion on rings, is also vying for gold with a qualification score of 15.233.
Greek gymnast Eleftherios Petrounias, the 2016 Olympic champion, will seek to regain his leadership and is capable of contending for medals despite a qualification score of 14.800. Turkish gymnast Adem Asil, the 2022 world champion, is also ready to fight for a podium position.
Armenian gymnast Vahagn Davtyan, one of the most experienced competitors with two European Championship silver medals and a victory at the 2024 World Cup, will aim to surprise his rivals and secure Armenia's first medal at these Games.
In vault, the competition for medals promises to be intense, with strong rivalry among participants. Ukrainian gymnast Nazar Chepurnyi, with a qualification score of 14.833, is one of the favorites following his success at the 2024 European Championships as part of the team.
British gymnast Jake Jarman, who has already won bronze at these Olympic Games in floor exercises, will seek to improve his result in vault. Artur Davtyan from Armenia, a bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympics and 2022 world champion in vault, is also a strong contender for a medal.
Carlos Yulo from the Philippines, the 2024 Olympic champion in floor exercises, and Iranian gymnast Mahdi Olfati will try to impress the audience and judges to reach the podium.

Vahagn Davtyan (Armenia, 35 years old). Qualification score — 14.733. Two-time European Championship silver medalist (rings), 2024 World Cup winner. The oldest gymnast participating in the Paris Olympics.
Harry Hepworth (United Kingdom, 20 years old). Qualification score — 14.700.
