The Armenian club "Noah" created a sensation by overcoming Greek AEK over two legs in the Conference League. Now, "Noah" will play in the play-off round for a spot in the group stage.
In the second leg, AEK won with a minimal score of 1-0, but it wasn't enough to advance. In the first match, held in Armenia, "Noah" secured a 3-1 victory, which ensured their passage to the next round.
AEK managed to score the only goal in the 92nd minute, with Steven Zuber finding the net. However, despite the late goal, the Armenian team "Noah" held on to their aggregate advantage and advanced with a 3-2 overall score.
In the Conference League play-off round, "Noah" will face the winner of the tie between "Hajduk" (Croatia) and "Ružomberok" (Slovakia).
It is also worth noting that Yerevan's "Pyunik" has advanced to the play-off round as well.
