Serbia is threatening to withdraw from EURO 2024 if UEFA does not punish Albania and Croatia for the anti-Serbian chants of their fans during the match.
Serbia has threatened to leave Euro 2024 if UEFA does not take strict measures against Albania and Croatia for the anti-Serbian chants of their fans. The incident occurred during the 2-2 draw in Group B on Wednesday, which took place in Hamburg.
According to the Football Association of Serbia (FSS), the second half of the match was accompanied by loud chants of "Kill, kill, kill the Serb" from the fans of both teams.
In an interview with Serbian state television RTS, FSS General Secretary Jovan Surbatovic stated:
"What happened is scandalous, and we will ask UEFA for sanctions, even if it means stopping the competition. We are confident that they will be punished because (UEFA) has already responded to our call to suspend the so-called journalist from Albania from the championship."
