On August 7, the third day of the wrestling competitions at the 2024 Olympic Games continues in Paris. Today, athletes compete in the 67 and 87 kg weight categories in Greco-Roman wrestling, as well as 53 kg in women's wrestling.
In the 67 kg weight category, Slavik Galstyan, a medalist of the European and World Championships, competes for the Armenian national team. Slavik is one of the favorites for Olympic gold, which he confirms with his performance at the tournament.
In the 1/8 finals, Slavik met with Ecuadorian Andreas Montano, whom he defeated with a score of 3:2. He showed the same result in a fight with Frenchman Mamadass Sillou and thus reached the semi-finals of the Olympic Games.
