From June 10 to 23, 2024, the European Aquatics Championships are being held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, with swimming pool competitions starting on June 17.
The Armenian swimming team, led by coach Armine Avetisyan, will participate in this prestigious competition. The team consists of Armenia's strongest swimmers.
The Armenian team roster:
Artur Barsegyan
Events: 50 and 100 meters butterfly, 50, 100, and 200 meters freestyle.
Varsenik Manucharyan
Events: 50 meters freestyle, 50 and 100 meters butterfly.
Ani Poghosyan
Events: 50, 100, and 200 meters freestyle.
Diana Musaelyan
Events: 50 and 100 meters backstroke, 200 meters individual medley.
Eva Karapetyan
Events: 50 and 100 meters butterfly.
The Armenian athletes will travel to Belgrade on June 15, where they will begin their preparations for the competitions.
It is worth noting that Artur Barsegyan and Varsenik Manucharyan still have chances to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games, so the tournament in Belgrade is very important for them.
