According to official sources of the Georgian Wrestling Federation, the Georgian squads that will go to the Paris Olympic Games 2024 have become known.
In the capital of France, the Georgian national team will be represented by 7 wrestlers: 4 freestyle wrestlers and 3 Greco-Roman wrestlers. There is no women's wrestling in Georgia.
The main figure of the team will be the legend of Georgian and world wrestling - multiple world championship medalist and Olympic vice-champion, Geno Petriashvili. He is Georgia's calling card at international tournaments and has two Olympic medals to his credit, as well as the status of three-time world champion and two-time European champion.
