The Russian Premier League announced the names of 100 footballers, who claim the title of the best player of the season 2023/24. The nominees include four Armenian national team players: Eduard Spertsyan, Nair Tiknizyan, Ugochukvu Iwu and Edgar Sevikyan.
The winners will be determined by voting on the official website of the award - winline-heroes.premierliga.ru.
The procedure will take place in three stages.
Voting of journalists and bloggers: April 22-30
Voting of fans: May 2-13
Experts' voting: May 15-24
The best player of the season will be chosen from among 100 players, including 10 goalkeepers, 30 defenders, 30 midfielders and 30 forwards.
Eduard Spertsyan, as well as the rest of the players who became the best player of the month, will start participating in the voting from the second stage. These are: Eduard Spertsyan, Konstantin Tyukavin, Benjamin Garre, Mohammad Mohebbi and Brian Mansilla.
Eduard Spertsyan has scored 9 goals and made 6 assists in 23 games this season. Nair Tiknizyan scored 6 goals and 3 assists in 20 games, Ugochukvu Iwu scored 1 goal in 22 games, and Edgar Sevikyan managed to score 4 times in RPL with Paris NN before moving to Ferencvaros.
