On July 6, the second day of the 2024 European Championship (U20) in freestyle wrestling took place in Novi Sad. Today, for the first time, wrestlers in the weight categories up to 61, 74, 86, 92 and 125 kg took to the mat. The wrestlers held preliminary matches during the day and semi-final matches in the evening. As a result of these fights, the final pairs in the last 5 weight categories among freestyle wrestlers became known.
All 5 Armenian athletes lost in the early stages of the tournament and none of them will get a chance for a medal.
After the semi-final fights, the final fights for medals began in the weight categories up to 57, 65, 70, 79 and 97 kg.
