A lot of interesting things are expected in the 77 kg weight category. In the 1/8 finals, former main rivals will meet: American Kamal Bey and the current world champion from Kyrgyzstan Akzhol Makhmudov. World and European medalist from Bulgaria Aik Mnatsakanyan and world medalist and European champion from Azerbaijan Sanan Suleymanov will meet. These wrestlers are in the same part of the grid.
