Today, August 5, the draw for Greco-Roman wrestling at the Olympic Games took place. The grids in the weight categories up to 77 and 97 kg in Greco-Roman wrestling have become known.
A lot of interesting things are expected in the 77 kg weight category. In the 1/8 finals, former main rivals will meet: American Kamal Bey and the current world champion from Kyrgyzstan Akzhol Makhmudov. World and European medalist from Bulgaria Aik Mnatsakanyan and world medalist and European champion from Azerbaijan Sanan Suleymanov will meet. These wrestlers are in the same part of the grid. In the other part, everything is calm, where the semi-final between Nao Kusaka from Japan and Malkhas Amoyan from Armenia is expected.
In 97 kg, the grids have also calmly formed, where the most interesting things will be in the semi-final stage.
