Armenian national team defender Stepa Mkrtchyan started to find himself in Osijek's line-up more and more often at the end of the season. In two of the last three matches he was in the starting line-up, as the team switched to a three centre-backs scheme, which gave the left-footed Armenian an ideal place in the line-up.
