Armenian striker Tigran Barseghyan will leave Slovan Bratislava this summer. The Slovak club was unable to reach an agreement with Barseghyan on the extension of the contract, which expires in December 2024, so the club is considering selling the player.
Barseghyan is already claimed by the Omonia Club (Nicosia). Costas Platsikas, a journalist from Cyprus, wrote on his Facebook account that Omonia is close to concluding a deal with the Armenian striker of Slovan By Tigran Barseghyan.
It should be recalled that Barseghyan became the top scorer of the Slovak championship and became the champion for the 3rd time with Slovan. He scored 13 goals and made 11 assists in 31 matches, and also scored one goal each in the Slovak Cup and the Europa League.
Omonia took 3th place in the last season of the Cyprus Championship and will play in the second round of the Conference League qualification.
