On July 31, three athletes of Armenian descent representing other countries will compete in the 2024 Olympic Games. These are two judokas and one boxer.
Judoka Aram Grigoryan was born in Moscow and has been representing the UAE since 2022. He previously competed in sambo and was the world champion in 2019. This will be his first Olympic Games.
Judoka Eduard Trippel is the silver medalist of the 2020 Olympic Games. He is also a multiple medalist at world championships and grand prix events. Eduard is of Armenian descent on his father's side; his father's name is Artashes Harutyunyan, and his mother's name is Maria Trippel.
Boxer Nikolai Terteryan is the son of former Armenian national team boxer Tigran Terteryan, who stayed in Denmark after an unsuccessful European Championship in 1996 in Vejle. Nikolai has three brothers who also box and represent various age groups in the Danish national team. His twin brother, Sebastian, also participated in the Olympic qualifications but did not succeed. Nikolai is the winner of the 2023 European Games and the 2022 Strandja Cup. He is considered one of the main favorites for the Paris Olympics.

12:00 — Judo (90 kg): Aram Grigoryan (UAE) and Eduard Trippel (Germany).
17:20 — Boxing (71 kg): Nikolai Terteryan in the round of 16 against Frenchman Makan Traore.
No one will play in the Armenian national team on July 31.
