On 24 April, the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2024 took place in Rimini. On the first day of the tournament the medal draw in the all-around competition, as well as qualification in individual apparatus took place.
Three gymnasts from the Armenian national team made it to the finals: Gagik Khachikyan made it to the finals on the pommel horse, Artur Avetisyan made it to the finals on the rings and Artur Davtyan made it to the finals on the vault.
Vahagn Davtyan did not participate, while Harutyun Merdinyan and Eric Baghdasaryan failed to qualify for the finals.
Gagik Khachikyan took 29th place in the all-around, and Eric Baghdasaryan 36th among 73 participants.
Final results of the all-around competition:
1. Marios Georgiou (Cyprus) - 84.265.
2. Oleg Verniev (Ukraine) - 84.031.
3. Yumin Abbadini (Italy) - 83.765.

On 25 April there will be qualification among youth, and finals among adults will be held on 26 and 27 April. On 28 April the finals among youth will be held.
