Tomorrow, June 28th, the ACA 177 fight night will take place in Sochi, where Armenian fighters Vartan Asatryan and Grigor Matevosyan will be competing.
Vartan Asatryan (26-10) will be facing off against Kyrgyz athlete Ryskulbek Ibraimov (23-14) in the main event at ACA 177. Grigor Matevosyan (13-3), meanwhile, will be having a rematch with Muslim Magomedov (13-0) in the Sochi tournament.
During the weigh-ins, an altercation occurred between Asatryan and Ibraimov, with the Kyrgyz fighter offering to put their fees on the line if they were to lose.
IBRAIMOV: "I'll put my fee up for the match. If I lose, it's yours. If I win, you'll have to pay me. Are you willing to risk your own money?"
ASATRYAN: "Your fee doesn't come close to mine. It's only 1% of what I'm risking. I have no interest in arguing with you. You won't beat me, and I won't bet on it. Your offer is not worth the risk. Put in a reasonable amount, and I'll do the same."
IBRAIMOV (after thinking): "No."
ASATRYAN (smiling): "If you survive the first round, I'll present you with a Kyrgyz flag."IBRAIMOV: The counter will not help you tomorrow.
