On Friday, August 16, at the Lumpini Stadium, three martial arts masters from Russia—Mamuka Usubyan (Yekaterinburg), Denis Burmatov (Novosibirsk), and Torepchi Dongak (Ak-Dovurak, Tuva)—will step into the ring of the legendary Lumpini Stadium in Bangkok.
The fights will take place under MMA and Muay Thai rules as part of the ONE Friday Fights 75 tournament, organized by Asia's largest league, ONE Championship.
Usubyan vs Khunsuek (Muay Thai)
In an intense Muay Thai bout, experienced Russian fighter Mamuka Usubyan will face Thai striker Khunsuek. Former Muay Thai world champion and Rajadamnern Stadium champion Khunsuek (Khunsuek Superbon) and Usubyan will fight in ONE's featherweight division (70.3 kg). This will be the second fight in ONE for the 30-year-old representative of the "Archangel Michael" team. In February, he won his debut against Shadow Singh Mavin by unanimous decision. The 24-year-old Khunsuek has an impressive record of 99-10-2.
Burmatov vs Chanajon (Muay Thai)
27-year-old kickboxer Denis Burmatov (12-3), who competed in RCC Fair Fight, will face Muay Thai veteran Chanajon (Chanajon PK Saenchai) in a Muay Thai bout in ONE's lightweight division (77.1 kg). Burmatov will debut in ONE as part of the Friday Fight series. The 36-year-old Chanajon has about 150 fights under his belt (115-31-5), as well as a title from the prestigious Rajadamnern Stadium.
Dongak vs Honda (MMA)
A prominent representative of the Tuvan school of martial arts, Torepchi Dongak, a master of sports and WAKO World Champion, will continue his ascent in ONE Championship. This will be his fifth fight in ONE. He debuted under kickboxing rules in March 2023 and then transitioned to MMA, where he scored two early victories and suffered one defeat.
36-year-old Resuke Honda from Japan now represents the "Tiger Muay Thai" gym. He has been competing in ONE since December 2023 and has two wins and one loss to Uzbek fighter Sanjar Zakirov. Both opponents have a 2-1 record in ONE and aim to improve their record to secure a spot on the numbered card and earn a six-figure contract. The fight will take place in ONE's strawweight division (56.7 kg).
In total, the card will feature 10 Muay Thai bouts and two MMA fights.
