From June 10 to 16, the International Boxing Tournament Yerevan Cup 2024 will take place in Yerevan. This will be the first edition of the tournament organized in the Armenian capital. The Armenian Boxing Federation has already proven their organizational skills by hosting two European Championships: for Elite Men in 2022 and for Youth Men and Women in 2023, as well as the World Junior Championships last November. They are now ready to host the international tournament among elite men and women and once again show their hospitality.
The boxing competitions will be held in the Mika Sports Hall. According to the official invitation, men will compete in the weight categories of 51 kg, 57 kg, 63.5 kg, 71 kg, 80 kg, 92 kg, and +92 kg. Women will compete in the categories of 50 kg, 54 kg, 57 kg, 60 kg, 66 kg, and 75 kg. The arrival of participants, technical meeting, and official draw will take place on June 10, with the fights starting on June 11. The final bouts will be held on June 15.
