From 9 to 13 May, Yerevan hosted the international volleyball and basketball tournament "Yerevan Mayor's Cup". Youth teams from Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Iran, Iran, Belarus and Uzbekistan participated in the tournament.

One more team each from Armenia and Georgia, as well as Ararat (Isfahan) from Iran also participated in the tournament.
