Gymnast Vahagn Davtyan became a father before heading to France to prepare for the 2024 Olympic Games.
On July 7, Vahagn witnessed the birth of his child, and on July 8, he went to the training camp in the French city of Rouen, where the Armenian gymnastics team will prepare for the Olympics in Paris.
It should be noted that two gymnasts from Armenia, Artur Davtyan and Vahagn Davtyan, will compete at the 2024 Olympics. For the 31-year-old Artur, these will be his fourth Olympic Games, and at the last games in Tokyo, he won a bronze medal in vault. However, for the 35-year-old Vahagn, this will be his first Olympics. He earned a quota on the rings apparatus at the 2024 World Cup stage.
