Vachagan Hovhannisyan became 4-time European armwrestling champion (video)
Armenian representative Vachagan Hovhannisyan won the gold medal in the left arm (70kg) at the European Championships 2024 in Bratislava.
Thus, the Armenian athlete became a 4-time European champion in armwrestling.
So far this is the only medal for Armenia at the European Senior Championships. Earlier Armenian athletes won 13 medals in para-armwrestling.
