Armenia's representative Valerik Movsisyan (89 kg) is the silver medalist of the World Weightlifting Under-17 Championship.
The Armenian weightlifter took the first place in snatch and the third place in deadlift, but lost 4 kilograms to Sabir Nurdus from Kazakhstan.
This is the second silver medal for Armenia at the tournament in Peru. Earlier Hovhannes Hovhannesyan (61 kg) became the silver medalist.
Results of 89 kg:
1. Sabir Nurdus (Kazakhstan) - 333 kg (148+185).
2. Valerik Movsisyan (Armenia) - 329 kg (153+176).
3. Bekzod Gofirjonov (Uzbekistan) - 324 kg (141+183).
