Varsenik Manucharyan recorded a time of 1:01.24 in the 100-meter butterfly swim at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. She placed third in her first qualifying heat and 26th overall out of four qualifying heats, unfortunately not making it to the semifinals, where only the top 16 swimmers advance. The best result in the qualifiers was recorded by Yufen Zhang from China.
At the 2024 Olympics, Armenia will also be represented in swimming competitions by Artur Barseghyan, who will compete in the 100-meter freestyle on July 30.
