The Olympic Wrestling Games continue in Paris on August 10. Today, on the sixth day of the tournament, freestyle wrestlers in the 65 kg and 97 kg weight categories took to the mat for the first time.
In the 65 kg weight category quarterfinals of the Olympic Games, Mongolian wrestler Tumur Ochir Tulga and Armenian representative Vazgen Tevanyan met. In a tough fight, the Mongolian wrestler won. After the start of the second period, Vazgen took the lead, setting it at 5:1. However, thanks to the actions of the Mongolian and the decisions of the judges, the score magically changed to 5:7 in favor of Tulga. As a result, the Mongolian entered the semifinals, who will wrestle with Japanese Kotaro Kiyoka. If the Mongolian reaches the final, Vazgen will have the opportunity to fight for the bronze medal.
