Today, June 11, the international boxing tournament Yerevan Cup 2024 kicked off in Yerevan. Boxers from Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Iran, and Hungary will participate in the tournament.
In the Armenian national team, second and third-ranked boxers will compete, along with one representative from the main team — Baregam Harutyunyan (51 kg), who recently became the silver medalist at the European Championship and participated in the Olympic qualification in Bangkok.
In the women's weight categories, there are only two representatives in each weight class — all from Armenia, except for one Hungarian and one Armenian from Russia.
