Officially. Iceland defender Gudmundur "Gudi" Thorarinsson has signed a contract with Armenian club Noah.
The 32-year-old right-back has played 15 matches for the Icelandic national team and 1 assist.
The player's last club was the Greek OFI, and previously he played in MLS, in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Thorarinsson has a rich and eventful career, he became the MLS champion with New York City in 2021, and won the Norwegian championship with Rosenborg in 2016.
"Gudi" was called up for the last matches of the Icelandic national team.
Interestingly, Gudmundur Thorarinsson is also a good singer and even participated in the selection for the Eurovision Song Contest from Iceland with the song
