The Armenian women's basketball team lost to Norway in their first match of the European Championship among small countries, with a score of 73-70.
It was their first official game in 14 years, and they were close to winning, leading by nine points in the fourth quarter. However, the Norwegian team managed to come back and win. Despite the defeat, we believe that the Armenian national team showed a very decent performance for the first match.
Inga Manucharyan was the most productive player for Armenia, scoring 23 points and adding four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Silvia Vartazaryan also contributed with 17 points.
Tomorrow, Armenia will play Albania in their next match.
