From Group C4, only Romania advanced to the next stage, demonstrating confident play throughout the qualification. The Armenian team, despite some successful matches, could not advance to the next stage, finishing in third place.
In this qualification, the Armenian team secured their first official match victory in 13 years, defeating Bulgaria with a score of 3-2, and later surprising fans even more by beating Kazakhstan 2-1.
